of The ORIGINAL CANOPY TOUR The Original CANOPY TOUR Nicaragua consists of approximately 2,000 feet of cable stretching between 17 platforms situated from 10 to 100 ft. above the forest floor. Each platform provides an ideal opportunity to rest, bird watch or just take in the majestic views of the Mombacho Volcano and Lake Nicaragua's coast. Guests are accompanied by the most well trained naturalist and canopy guides in the country. The tour is located within the Cutirre coffee plantation on the eastern foothills of Mombacho Volcano, 9 miles south of Granada. Our value-added services include naturalist guide accompanied transportation in air-conditioned comfort to and from the Granada office to the Hacienda. Tour Details:Mombotour S.A. offers two Canopy Tours daily, one at 10 a.m. and one at 2 p.m. 365 days a year. The duration of the tour is approximately 2-3 hours. We recommend shorts or long pants, T-shirt and tennis shoes and insect repellent Please note that the minimum age for this is 5 years old.
