Less than a half an hour from "Ochi" is the Cranbrook Flowering Tree Sanctuary. This ORIGINAL CANOPY TOUR experience is a series of 9 traverses over a unique geological feature caused by the erosion of a mountain by an artesian river which created a beautiful and biologically rich valley over the last 2 million years that has evolved into a unique environment. During this tour you will travel almost 3/4 of a mile sometimes as high as 330 feet above the ground! Please note that the minimum age for this in Jamaica is presently 10 years old. The cruise ships will not take anyone under the age of 12 years. There is a weight restriction of about 265 pounds although the weight is more a function of body shape than weight itself. TOUR DETAILS:The duration of the tour is approximately 2 hours. We recommend shorts or long pants, T-shirt and tennis shoes and insect repellent.
